We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support a busy service team in Durham, North Carolina. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who is confident managing a steady stream of customer interactions while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. The person in this role will respond to inquiries, complete detailed documentation, and help ensure customers receive timely and effective assistance.
Job Responsibility
Manage a high volume of incoming customer calls and provide clear, courteous support in a fast-paced environment
Resolve questions related to services, orders, and general account concerns while delivering a positive customer experience
Record customer interactions accurately and complete data entry tasks to maintain up-to-date information in internal systems
Handle email communications and follow up with customers as needed to provide updates or additional assistance
Place outbound calls when necessary to confirm details, share information, or support issue resolution
Enter and update order information with close attention to detail and established service procedures
Schedule appointments and coordinate customer requests to support efficient daily operations
Use Microsoft Word and Excel to document activity, track information, and assist with routine administrative tasks
Requirements
At least 1 year of call center experience in a customer service environment
Demonstrated ability to handle inbound calls efficiently while maintaining professionalism and accuracy
Strong verbal and written communication skills for phone and email interactions
Experience with data entry and order processing in a detail-oriented setting
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain organized in a high-volume workload
Comfortable making outbound calls and coordinating appointment scheduling when required
