Job Responsibility:
Serve as the first point of contact by responding promptly and professionally to inbound calls from both internal and external customers
Answer questions on a wide range of banking topics including bill payment, online banking, deposit and loan rates, products, and services
Address issues related to Online Banking, ATM/Debit Cards, perform PIN resets, assist with e-Statement and check order requests
Gather customer information and file electronic funds transfer (EFT) complaints in accordance with compliance procedures
Diligently resolve customer issues, provide ongoing support, and escalate difficult cases to the appropriate party
Prepare clear, professional customer correspondence as needed
Complete customer account documentation, ensuring compliance with all bank policies and procedures
Stay current with all products, services, laws, regulations, and internal procedures
Support and participate in bank initiatives and sales campaigns, identifying and cross-selling appropriate services
Assist and mentor new team members as needed
Operate with the highest ethical standards, ensuring compliance with all applicable banking laws and regulations
Requirements:
Experience handling high-volume inbound calls in a customer service or call center environment
Ability to confidently address and resolve a broad range of questions relating to banking—including bill payments and online/mobile banking
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with a customer-first approach
Previous customer service experience (financial services/banking preferred)
Comfort navigating online systems and CRM tools
Digital fluency and adaptability to new software or process changes
Strong attention to detail, compliance focus, and sense of ownership
Team player willing to support business line referrals and cross-sell opportunities
