Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role is based in Washington, District of Columbia, and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a non-profit organization. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to handle detailed data entry tasks efficiently.

Job Responsibility:

  • Process and evaluate new submissions by creating or updating accounts while accurately associating artists and payees
  • Ensure the correct application of royalty items, including percentage allocations and effective dates
  • Assess incoming submissions to determine their priority based on potential value
  • Maintain high standards of quality and productivity to meet or exceed established benchmarks
  • Communicate with clients to clarify documentation and resolve submission-related questions
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls to provide prompt and attentive assistance
  • Utilize Salesforce and other platforms to manage customer information and track interactions
  • Execute high-volume data entry tasks with precision and attention to detail
  • Participate in special projects as assigned to support organizational goals

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in customer service, preferably within a call center environment
  • Strong proficiency in data entry with a focus on accuracy and speed
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar customer relationship management tools
  • Ability to handle inbound and outbound calls effectively while maintaining professionalism
  • Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach
  • Capability to prioritize tasks and manage high volumes of submissions
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to meet quality standards consistently
  • Experience in resolving customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner
