We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join a team in Cincinnati, Ohio in a contract opportunity with permanent potential. This position focuses on delivering responsive support for incoming customer requests, entering and updating orders with precision, and helping customers with product-related questions. Job Responsibility
Respond to a steady flow of inbound customer calls and provide courteous, solution-focused assistance
Enter new orders into internal systems, review details for completeness, and update records as customer needs change
Answer questions related to product availability, pricing, order progress, and expected delivery timing
Handle revisions, cancellations, and other order adjustments while keeping customers informed throughout the process
Share basic product guidance and help customers identify suitable options based on their requirements
Work with sales, production, operations, and shipping teams to address service issues and support timely order fulfillment
Escalate more complex customer or product concerns to the appropriate internal contacts and track them through resolution
Maintain organized and accurate documentation of customer interactions, orders, and follow-up activities
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
At least 2 years of experience in customer service, preferably within manufacturing, distribution, or industrial settings
Demonstrated accuracy in data entry and order processing with strong attention to detail
Familiarity with order management or similar business systems is preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused and detail-oriented approach
Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced work environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
