We are looking for a customer-focused individual to support daily operations at a busy testing center in Michigan. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with the public, stays organized in a structured office environment, and can handle administrative tasks with accuracy and care. The role involves assisting test takers throughout the check-in and exam process while helping maintain a secure, orderly setting. Candidates should be comfortable with onsite work, flexible scheduling, and regular Saturday availability.
Job Responsibility
Welcome visitors in a courteous manner, confirm their identification, and guide them through the check-in process
Complete candidate registration activities and prepare required testing documentation with a high level of accuracy
Capture and document fingerprint information when required by testing procedures
Observe examinees during testing sessions to help ensure compliance with site rules and security standards
Address candidate concerns promptly and escalate unusual situations to the appropriate leadership team when needed
Protect testing materials, systems, and software by following established security procedures at all times
Perform basic technical support tasks such as restarting equipment and assisting with password resets when necessary
Communicate any incidents or exceptions that fall outside standard policy to management in a timely manner
Support scheduling needs based on testing volume and assist with additional onsite duties as assigned
Requirements
1-2 years of experience in customer service or a related office-based support role
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and confidently with candidates
Proficiency with computers and comfort handling administrative tasks in a structured environment
Availability to work onsite for 30-40 hours per week, including Saturdays
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds as part of daily site operations
Capacity to remain seated or stationary for extended periods while administering exams
Ability to complete routine walk-throughs of the testing area during the workday
