We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support members and callers with patience and care in Indianapolis, Indiana. Job Responsibility:
Respond to incoming customer inquiries by phone and provide clear, courteous, and solution-focused support
Document conversations, updates, and account details with a high level of accuracy while following established procedures
Use multiple applications and internal systems at the same time to research issues, enter information, and complete service requests
Investigate customer concerns, identify appropriate next steps, and escalate more complex matters when additional support is needed
Maintain a calm and attentive approach during challenging interactions and work to de-escalate concerns effectively
Adapt to updated workflows, system changes, and shifting priorities while continuing to meet service expectations
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to share information, resolve issues, and support daily operations
Meet attendance, schedule, and coverage expectations to help ensure consistent service for customers
Requirements:
Prior experience in customer service, call center support, or a similar client-facing role
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to listen actively and respond with empathy
Comfortable navigating several computer systems, applications, and screens during live customer interactions
Solid data entry skills with close attention to detail and accuracy in records and documentation
Working knowledge of basic office software, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
Good judgment and problem-solving ability when handling questions, concerns, and service-related issues
Reliable attendance, punctuality, and flexibility to adjust to changing processes or business needs
