We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support our client in the Haddam, Connecticut area through a Contract position focused on responsive, detail-oriented service. In this role, you will handle inbound inquiries, assist with order-related requests, and provide clear product and service information to help resolve issues efficiently. The ideal candidate is attentive, courteous, and committed to creating positive customer experiences while building trust with every interaction.
Job Responsibility
Respond to incoming customer calls and inquiries with a service-focused approach
Enter and update customer orders accurately while confirming details and resolving discrepancies
Provide clear information about products, services, and account-related questions to support customer needs
Investigate customer concerns and work toward timely, effective solutions for routine issues
Document interactions and maintain accurate records of requests, updates, and follow-up actions
Manage both inbound and outbound communication as needed to address questions and complete service requests
Escalate more complex concerns to the appropriate team when additional support is required.
Requirements
Prior experience in customer service, call center support, or a similar client-facing role
Ability to handle inbound calls efficiently while maintaining a detail-oriented and empathetic manner
Experience with order entry and processing customer requests with strong attention to detail
Comfortable communicating clearly with customers by phone and in writing
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to respond calmly to complaints or general inquiries
Proficiency with basic computer systems and data entry tasks
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced service environment.
