We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team in Richburg, South Carolina. In this role, you will handle customer claims, coordinate communication across departments, and ensure customer satisfaction through efficient claim processing. This position is Contract to permanent and offers the opportunity to work directly on the warehouse floor in a dynamic wholesale distribution environment.
Job Responsibility:
Evaluate incoming claims from customers and collaborate with the Quality Manager to ensure accurate processing
Gather supporting evidence for claims, such as product samples or photographs
Process customer claims, including managing material returns and issuing credits
Enter vendor claims into the system and oversee their resolution, including issuing debits
Handle the processing of credits and debits within the company’s system
Communicate effectively with sales, quality, and production teams throughout the claims process
Provide support for supplier and customer interactions during claim resolutions
Track rejected materials and inventory, and assist with documentation to reduce discrepancies
Conduct material inspections and contribute to internal audits as needed
Perform administrative tasks such as filing and contributing to root cause analysis documentation
Requirements:
Proven experience in customer service, ideally in a call center or similar environment
Familiarity with order entry processes and handling inbound and outbound calls
Strong ability to multitask and work in a warehouse setting around heavy machinery
Excellent communication skills to liaise across departments and with customers
Detail-oriented approach to tracking inventory and managing claims documentation
Knowledge of claim processing systems and vendor management
Ability to assist with internal audits and root cause analysis
