Job Description:

Join a rapidly growing third-party logistics (3PL) company as a Customer Service Representative and become an essential member of our expanding team. In this dynamic role, you will be the primary point of contact for clients, partners, and internal teams—resolving inquiries, managing order status, and supporting logistics operations from first contact through successful delivery. Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee customer accounts, maintain positive customer relations, and meet daily/weekly deadlines for both customers and internal management
  • Assist with onboarding new customers and inputting inventory/product data into inventory management systems (WMS and databases)
  • Coordinate with the Customer Service Supervisor, Operations Manager, and Warehouse Leads to manage customer orders, production activities, shipments, and supplies, as well as produce necessary shipping documentation (BOLs, etc.) and activity/billing reports
  • Quote, monitor, schedule, and facilitate the movement of client freight/goods and provide tracking information as needed
  • Keep accurate records of customer interactions, orders, errors, comments, and complaints
  • Review and update inventory, order, and billable activity data
  • Assist with general office functions, including answering phones, filing, billing, compiling customer/market data, or other administrative duties
  • Communicate professionally with the Warehouse Team, other Account Executives, and Management regarding shipments, order details, inventory, errors, or other operational issues
  • Follow quality and safety procedures and company policies

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of previous customer service experience in a professional environment
  • Previous experience in logistics, 3PL, supply chain, fulfillment, freight, or warehouse industry
  • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or other inventory/supply chain software packages
  • Strong computer capabilities, with excellent skills in major office programs (MS Office, Chrome, GoogleDocs, etc.)
  • Excellent data entry, typing, and writing skills, as well as professional communication and organizational abilities
  • Excellent English reading/writing skills
  • Preference for applicants with logistics industry experience & "Extensiv" Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Experience with shipping documentation and parcel shipping via USPS, UPS, FedEx, or other carriers is preferred
  • Professional demeanor, problem-solving skills, and the ability to stay calm with customers or teams in various situations

Nice to have:

  • Familiarity with online shipping/postage platforms (ShipStation, ShippingEasy, EasyShip, Shippo, Stamps.com, or similar)
  • Experience with Amazon FBA, FBM, SellerCentral, or vendor management
  • Bilingual (Spanish) capabilities preferred but not required
