Job Description:

Customer Service Representative role at CVS Health's Center of Excellence Customer Service group, serving as the face of Aetna and impacting members' service experience through handling customer inquiries and problems via telephone, internet or written correspondence.

Job Responsibility:

  • Handle customer service inquiries and problems via telephone, internet or written correspondence
  • Engage, consult and educate members based on their unique needs and preferences
  • Answer questions and resolve issues from members, providers, and plan sponsors
  • Document and track contacts with members, providers and plan sponsors
  • Guide members through their plan benefits and Aetna policies
  • Process claim referrals, new claim handoffs, nurse reviews, complaints, grievance and appeals
  • Educate providers on self-service options
  • Assist providers with credentialing and re-credentialing issues
  • Respond to litigation requests
  • Handle extensive file review requests
  • Assist in complaint trend reports and claim data compilation
  • Determine medical necessity and verify member plan eligibility

Requirements:

  • Customer Service experiences in a transaction based environment such as a call center or retail location
  • Experience in a production environment
  • High School diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent experience

  • Ability to multi-task to accomplish workload efficiently
  • Understanding of medical terminology
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to maintain accuracy and production standards
