We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support clients in Gardena, California within the wood and furniture manufacturing industry. This Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, managing service requests, and keeping order activity organized from start to finish. The person in this role will serve as a key point of contact for inquiries related to parts, service coordination, and order processing while delivering detail-oriented and responsive support.
Job Responsibility
Respond to inbound customer inquiries regarding parts, product availability, pricing details, and order support
Guide customers through the order placement process and ensure transactions are entered accurately and completed on time
Arrange service visits by coordinating schedules with technicians and communicating appointment details to customers
Record, monitor, and update service requests in the appropriate service management system to maintain accurate case information
Handle returns and warranty-related requests with careful attention to policy, documentation, and turnaround time
Maintain thorough records of customer conversations, service activity, and order updates to support consistent follow-up
Partner with teams across sales, technical support, finance, procurement, and warehouse operations to resolve issues efficiently
Address customer concerns promptly and effectively while strengthening ongoing client relationships through reliable communication
Requirements
At least 2 years of experience in customer service, call center support, or a related client-facing role
Background in answering inbound calls and assisting customers with professionalism and accuracy
Experience with order entry, order tracking, and general transaction processing
Ability to manage both inbound and outbound communication in a fast-paced support environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on clear customer follow-up
High level of organization and attention to detail when maintaining records and handling multiple requests
Comfortable working cross-functionally with internal departments to support service and order resolution
