We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support a manufacturing organization in Lombard, Illinois. The person in this role will handle a steady volume of inquiries, resolve payment-related questions, and maintain accurate records while contributing to a positive customer experience.
Job Responsibility:
Respond promptly to incoming customer calls with professionalism, courtesy, and clear verbal communication
Investigate questions related to community photo enforcement programs and provide accurate, helpful resolutions
Document each customer interaction thoroughly in the appropriate system, ensuring notes are complete and up to date
Escalate complex or sensitive concerns to the Team Lead quickly to support timely issue resolution
Assist customers with credit card payment processing for violation-related transactions while following established procedures
Review email and internal communication channels each day to stay informed on updates and service expectations
Complete administrative and customer support tasks such as data entry, order-related processing, and appointment coordination as needed
Requirements:
Previous experience in customer service, call center support, or a similar phone-based role
Ability to manage inbound calls efficiently while maintaining a polite and attentive tone
Strong written communication skills for accurate documentation and email correspondence
Comfortable entering detailed information with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel in a business environment
Experience supporting payment-related inquiries or transaction processing is preferred
Capable of handling multiple tasks, following procedures, and working effectively in a structured team setting
