We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team in Pasadena, California. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a key role in ensuring customer satisfaction by managing inquiries, processing orders, and maintaining accurate records. This role requires strong communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibility:
Enter and update customer information in the database with precision and accuracy
Process customer orders and ensure timely fulfillment while addressing any discrepancies
Provide prompt assistance to customers and sales representatives with inquiries regarding orders, sizes, styles, and other issues
Collaborate with internal teams to address customer needs and resolve complaints effectively
Generate detailed reports and summaries of customer interactions and data for management review
Assist with the setup and maintenance of product styles, colors, and swatches
Verify unconfirmed orders and follow up to ensure completion or cancellation as necessary
Handle re-orders, replacements, special requests, and credit memos efficiently
Support the reception desk and manage incoming calls and correspondence
Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with company procedures
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
associate degree or higher is preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience in customer service or data entry roles
Exceptional typing speed and accuracy, with strong attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-focused approach
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Nice to have:
Familiarity with customer service software or similar systems is an advantage
