Job Responsibility:
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, handling inquiries, payments, and general service needs
Process billing activities, including issuing water bills and verifying meter readings for accuracy
Manage and update spreadsheets and data systems to ensure records are accurate and up-to-date
Assist in de-escalating customer concerns and resolving issues effectively to maintain satisfaction
Collaborate with team members to provide support and ensure departmental goals are met
Learn and adapt to new systems and processes to enhance efficiency and service delivery
Handle inbound and outbound calls professionally, addressing customer needs promptly
Perform order entry and data input tasks with high attention to detail
Provide administrative support, including mailing management and record maintenance
Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience in customer service or related role
Experience in billing or administrative tasks is preferred but not required
Proficient computer skills and ability to work with spreadsheets and data systems
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to handle customer interactions effectively
Proven ability to de-escalate situations and resolve customer concerns
Self-motivated and adaptable to learning new processes and systems
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
Ability to work collaboratively and support team objectives
