Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Lyndhurst, New Jersey. In this long-term contract role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Job Responsibility:

  • Respond promptly to incoming phone calls, addressing customer inquiries and connecting them to the appropriate team or solution
  • Provide direct and accurate answers to customer questions, minimizing the need for transfers whenever possible
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through active listening, empathy, and problem-solving
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer requests and issues effectively
  • Manage and resolve customer complaints with professionalism, ensuring a positive outcome
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and resolutions for future reference
  • Enter data accurately into the company’s systems, including Salesforce, following basic training
  • Identify and create sales leads and opportunities based on customer interactions

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to solve problems effectively
  • Proven customer service skills, with a focus on delivering value and satisfaction
  • Proactive approach to finding solutions and addressing customer concerns
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while utilizing online resources efficiently
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for maintaining accurate records

Nice to have:

  • Experience with inbound and outbound calls is a plus
  • Familiarity with order entry systems and customer service tools is preferred
