As the first point of contact for boaters and visitors, you will provide exceptional customer service, assist with marina operations, and ensure a smooth and pleasant experience for all customers. This role is essential in maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere at our marina.
Job Responsibility:
Customer Interaction
greet & assist marina guests, boaters, and visitors upon arrival
Ensure a positive customer experience by resolving issues or concerns promptly and professionally
Monitor boat arrivals & departures
assisting with docking and fueling
Operational support
manage phone lines, emails and walk-in inquiries
Coordinate and communicate with other marina departments to ensure smooth operations
Maintain and update customer files and reservations using marina management software
Maintenance and Safety: Ensure the marina is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times
Assist with ensuring marina safety protocols are followed, including managing emergency situations when necessary
Requirements:
Previous experience in customer service, hospitality or marina operations is an asset
Familiarity with boating, marine technology and marina operations
ability to operate boats or assist with docking
Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle inquiries and complaints professionally
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions
Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
