Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join a team in Wilmington, Delaware. This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to assist customers with inquiries and claims related to unclaimed property. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment while delivering exceptional service.

Job Responsibility:

Handle inbound customer calls regarding unclaimed property inquiries and provide timely assistance
Offer updates on claim statuses and guide customers through required documentation
Assist claimants in navigating the online system and filing their claims accurately
Search for and create claims within the company’s proprietary database system
Perform accurate data entry and ensure compliance with established client procedures
Review and analyze documentation to determine rightful ownership of claims
Maintain detailed notes for each customer interaction in the claims database
Escalate complex issues or concerns to management as necessary
Identify and report discrepancies, patterns, or potential issues to supervisors
Support additional administrative tasks and contribute to special projects as assigned

Requirements:

At least 6 months of experience handling high-volume inbound customer service calls
Previous experience processing claims or working in a related field
Strong proficiency in data entry and familiarity with proprietary databases
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
Ability to follow detailed instructions and make sound decisions independently
Detail-oriented approach with the ability to remain calm and patient under pressure
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Familiarity with online systems and the ability to guide customers through technical processes
