Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Customer Service Representative to support an onsite employee event in Linthicum, Maryland. This Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys face-to-face interaction, creates positive experiences, and can represent a service-oriented brand effectively. The person in this role will help attendees navigate event resources, encourage account registration, and contribute to a smooth and welcoming event environment.

Job Responsibility

Welcome employees at the event table and encourage participation by guiding them through profile or account registration
Communicate key program information clearly and confidently using approved event messaging
Provide a positive, detail-oriented presence while answering general questions and engaging attendees throughout the event
Hand out promotional materials and event giveaways to support awareness and participation
Refer employees with detailed or specialized questions to the appropriate support channels or designated resources
Assist with preparing the event area before launch and help with breakdown and cleanup once activities conclude
Remain on your feet for extended periods while actively supporting a busy onsite environment

Requirements

Demonstrated experience in customer service, call center support, or other client-facing roles
Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact comfortably with a wide range of people
Detail-oriented, dependable, and punctual approach to assigned work
Friendly and approachable demeanor with confidence in a fast-moving event setting
Ability to manage both inbound and outbound attendee interactions as needed
Willingness to complete a required one-hour paid training session before the event
Ability to follow business casual dress expectations for onsite representation
