We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support clients and insurance partners with responsive, accurate service in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone who communicates clearly, stays organized, and can manage multiple service requests in a fast-paced environment. The person in this role will help resolve customer concerns, provide policy-related information, and ensure documentation is completed correctly and on time.
Job Responsibility
Handle incoming customer and agent inquiries by providing clear updates on policy status, coverage details, and product information
Research service issues and disputed matters, then work toward prompt and effective resolution while maintaining a positive customer experience
Prepare and process insurance-related documents, including coverage changes, beneficiary updates, confirmations, certificates, invoice corrections, and supporting data forms
Enter and update information in internal records with a high level of accuracy to support reliable account maintenance
Maintain organized files and documentation so that customer and policy records remain complete and accessible
Coordinate with insurance carriers and internal contacts to ensure requests are completed accurately and within expected timelines
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior customer service experience required
call center experience is preferred
Working knowledge of insurance products and general insurance industry practices
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers, agents, and business partners
Demonstrated tact, diplomacy, and sound judgment when handling sensitive or escalated situations
Solid typing skills and the ability to manage administrative tasks accurately and efficiently
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
