Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support a busy wholesale distribution operation in Charlotte, North Carolina. This contract opportunity with potential for a long-term role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, managing order details, and keeping service activities organized in a fast-paced setting. The person in this role will contribute to a positive customer experience by coordinating requests, maintaining accurate information, and working closely with internal teams. Job Responsibility

  • Respond to inbound and outbound customer communications in a courteous, timely, and attentive manner
  • Enter, review, and maintain customer orders related to services and installations with a high level of accuracy
  • Coordinate appointment scheduling by working with customers, builders, and internal partners to confirm service timelines
  • Keep order records current by updating information within company systems and online platforms
  • Support daily operational flow by partnering with colleagues to resolve issues and meet customer expectations
  • Use Excel and web-based tools to track information, manage updates, and organize service-related data
  • Document customer interactions thoroughly and capture important details to support follow-up and continuity
  • Deliver attentive service that reflects a friendly, solutions-focused approach in every customer interaction.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in customer service, call center support, or a similar client-facing environment
  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel and navigating web-based systems for data entry and tracking
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at once while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced setting
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and dependable follow-through
  • Capable of working independently while also contributing effectively within a team environment
