We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team in Oakland, California. This long-term contract position involves providing exceptional support to restaurant and grocery partners, ensuring smooth onboarding, and fostering product adoption through consultative conversations. The role requires someone who excels in video-based customer interactions and thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
Job Responsibility:
Conduct a high volume of video calls daily, managing up to 16–20 calls lasting 20–30 minutes each, with some extended calls as needed
Handle a mix of inbound and outbound calls, including assisting grocery partners and following up with clients
Guide new customers through onboarding processes, including account setup, navigation of the ordering platform, and resolving order-related inquiries
Provide clear explanations of program details, invoices, and other materials to ensure clients have a thorough understanding
Engage in consultative conversations to identify client needs and recommend suitable package options
Deliver excellent customer service by addressing questions, offering solutions, and enhancing customer satisfaction
Adhere to established workflows for callback schedules and maintain detailed records in internal systems
Ensure all follow-up tasks are completed in a timely and organized manner
Collaborate with clients to increase adoption of platform features and maximize their experience
Requirements:
Minimum of 2–3 years of call center experience, with a strong preference for candidates with sales or telemarketing background
Demonstrated ability to retain and relay detailed information effectively during client interactions
Skilled in managing both B2B and B2C conversations professionally
Outstanding verbal communication skills, particularly in video call settings
Comfortable switching between structured onboarding calls and more casual follow-up conversations
Highly organized and tech-savvy, with the ability to manage a steady flow of calls and client requests
Strong listening skills and the ability to identify client needs and provide appropriate solutions
Proficient in handling inbound and outbound calls while ensuring excellent customer service
