Robert Half Lexington is looking for several experienced Customer Service Representatives to join a team in Lexington-Fayette, Kentucky. This is a Contract-to-Permanent position within the hospitality industry where you will play a key role in managing reservation requests and delivering exceptional service to clients. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for ensuring client satisfaction, this opportunity is for you. These openings have a variety of schedules available---some Monday through Friday 2nd shift working hours and some weekend schedules like Saturday-Wednesday or Wednesday to Sunday, also 2nd shift working hours.
Job Responsibility:
Manage and complete reservation requests, typically ranging from 1-10 room-nights, to meet client needs and expectations
Ensure all reservations align with client policies, including per diem, amenities, mileage, and hotel preferences
Respond promptly and accurately to client requests, adhering to established deadlines
Utilize critical thinking to identify hotel options that align with business financial goals
Accurately input reservation details and requests into the system to maintain data integrity
Apply knowledge of the hotel industry and regional markets to provide tailored solutions for client needs
Communicate effectively with clients, providing timely updates and resolving outstanding requests prior to arrivals
Address and resolve client and hotel issues related to extensions, early departures, or reservation changes
Collaborate with Account Management and Hotel Network teams to identify preferred hotel options and enhance client experiences
Deliver exceptional service by anticipating and addressing client needs, including unspoken expectations
Requirements:
Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet navigation
Prior experience in customer service, call centers, or client relations
Excellent data entry skills with the ability to manage large volumes of information efficiently
Effective communication skills to professionally handle client and departmental interactions
Familiarity with hotel industry practices and regional market trends
Ability to adapt to changing business needs and flexibly manage workload
Commitment to attending trainings, meetings, and other assigned events to stay informed and perform effectively
