We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Fairfield, New Jersey. This is a long-term contract position that offers a hybrid work schedule, combining in-office and remote work after initial training. The role involves managing service-related tasks, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining accurate records during our busy season.
Job Responsibility:
Review service tickets to confirm warranty details, pricing, and product availability
Process and monitor service requests while maintaining accurate documentation
Organize and oversee returns for quality control evaluation, tracking product status
Communicate effectively with technicians, managers, distributors, and contractors to provide updates and resolve issues
Handle high volumes of customer inquiries, averaging 20-30 calls per day, ensuring timely and attentive responses
Input data and service requests accurately into the system, utilizing strong computer skills
Verify product availability and pricing to ensure accurate communication with customers
Participate in comprehensive training, including shadowing experienced team members and studying product details
Collaborate with a team of customer service representatives to ensure seamless operations
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, preferably in a call center environment
Strong ability to manage inbound and outbound calls efficiently and professionally
Proficiency in order entry and maintaining accurate records
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with various stakeholders
Solid computer skills, including the ability to learn and navigate systems quickly
Detail-oriented with the ability to verify warranty and pricing information accurately
Capacity to adapt to hybrid work schedules and complete initial in-person training
Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
