Job Responsibility:
Process customer payments accurately and efficiently
Address general account inquiries and provide clear explanations to customers
Analyze usage data and assist customers in managing high usage concerns
Open and document payments in line with company procedures
Investigate and resolve issues related to returned mail
Monitor and maintain payment agreements, ensuring compliance
Record detailed notes on customer accounts to keep track of interactions
Take detailed messages regarding billing concerns and coordinate follow-ups with the appropriate team
Generate work orders for meter technicians and ensure timely processing
Handle administrative tasks such as shredding documents, filing, and organizing records
Requirements:
Proven experience in call center customer service or a similar role
Proficiency in navigating multiple web browsers and handling email correspondence
Strong ability to troubleshoot connectivity issues and provide solutions
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer success
Detail-oriented with the ability to track and manage payment agreements
Familiarity with creating work orders and documenting account information
Ability to handle administrative tasks with precision and efficiency
