We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to join a manufacturing organization in Lakewood, New Jersey in a contract opportunity with permanent potential. This role supports customers, distributors, and internal sales partners by managing orders, quotes, documentation, and day-to-day service requests with accuracy and professionalism. The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and comfortable handling both domestic and international customer needs in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibility:
Manage customer order processing from initial entry through final confirmation, ensuring information is accurate and completed on time.
Prepare pricing quotes and related documentation for customers and sales partners while maintaining clear communication throughout the process.
Coordinate invoicing activities for international accounts, including freight-related calculations and supporting shipment paperwork.
Assemble export and shipping documents needed for overseas orders and help secure required shipment reference information.
Respond to inbound inquiries from distributors, dental offices, commercial accounts, and sales representatives regarding product details, order progress, and service needs.
Support account administration by sending dealer forms, establishing new dealer records, and creating special invoices for domestic customers when needed.
Track, document, and help resolve customer concerns, including entering complaint information, processing returns, and arranging applicable credits.
Produce routine reports, organize records, and maintain filing systems to support customer service and sales operations.
Assist with onboarding and guidance for new team members while contributing to pricing issue follow-up and customer communication initiatives.
Requirements:
Previous customer service experience in a call center, manufacturing, distribution, or order management environment.
Strong data entry and administrative skills with careful attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to communicate professionally with internal teams, customers, distributors, and sales representatives.
Experience handling order status requests, product questions, and customer issue resolution in a timely manner.
Comfort working with invoices, quotes, reports, and shipping-related documentation.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay organized in a fast-paced setting.
Proficiency with standard business software and the ability to learn company systems quickly.
