We are looking for a Customer Service Representative for a 2 day Trade show event next week here in Reno. This role supports on-site event and trade show activity by helping introduce the company’s offerings to prospective customers and creating a positive first impression. The ideal candidate is comfortable engaging new people, identifying buying interest, and turning conversations into leads and orders.
Job Responsibility:
Build a strong understanding of the company’s products by working closely with the business owner before and during events
Represent the company by welcoming attendees and encouraging them to visit the booth
Initiate conversations with passing visitors to spark interest and increase booth traffic throughout the event
Speak with prospective customers to understand their needs, explain product benefits, and maintain engagement
Capture lead information accurately and support follow-up opportunities generated from event interactions
Process customer orders as needed and ensure details are entered correctly
Provide courteous, attentive service that reflects the company well in a public event setting
Requirements:
Previous experience in customer service, event support, sales, or trade show environments
Ability to approach and engage unfamiliar attendees in a confident and attentive manner
Experience with order entry or handling customer purchase information accurately
Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable standing, interacting with the public, and staying energized in a busy event setting
Ability to quickly learn product information and explain it clearly to interested customers
Reliable availability to work on-site in Reno, Nevada for the duration of the contract assignment
