We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support a non-profit organization in Baraboo, Wisconsin. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping people, managing high-volume communication, and ensuring each interaction is handled with professionalism and care. The person in this role will serve as a key point of contact for incoming inquiries, process orders accurately, and deliver dependable service across phone-based customer interactions.
Job Responsibility
Respond to incoming customer calls promptly and provide clear, courteous assistance for a wide range of service needs
Handle a steady volume of call center interactions while maintaining accuracy, professionalism, and a positive customer experience
Enter orders and update customer information in internal systems with close attention to detail
Resolve routine questions and concerns by gathering information, identifying needs, and providing appropriate solutions
Place outbound calls when needed to follow up on requests, confirm details, or support service completion
Document conversations, actions taken, and relevant updates to ensure complete and accurate records
Escalate more complex issues to the appropriate team when resolution requires additional support
Contribute to smooth daily operations by staying organized, meeting response expectations, and following service procedures
Requirements
Previous experience in customer service or call center support is required
Ability to manage inbound calls efficiently while maintaining a calm and attentive communication style
Experience with order entry and maintaining accurate customer records
Strong verbal communication skills and active listening ability
Comfortable handling both inbound and outbound phone interactions
Solid attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer proficiency and confidence navigating customer service systems
