We are seeking an attentive and reliable Customer Service Representative to support an upcoming conference in Cincinnati, Ohio. This contract position requires full availability for scheduled shifts during the event. The role involves assisting with various tasks to ensure a smooth and efficient experience for all attendees.
Job Responsibility:
Provide exceptional customer service by assisting attendees at the registration desk
Manage guest inquiries and direct them to appropriate areas or resources
Support the silent auction process, including setup, monitoring, and closing activities
Act as a runner to deliver materials or handle urgent requests across the venue
Ensure accurate order entry and maintain organized records during the event
Assist guests by addressing any concerns or special needs promptly and with attention to detail
Work collaboratively with the event team to maintain smooth operations
Uphold a welcoming and detail-oriented demeanor throughout the conference
Help with event breakdown and cleanup tasks as needed
Adhere to the assigned schedule, including extended hours for specific roles
Requirements:
Proven experience in customer service or event support roles
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with attendees
Ability to handle multiple tasks and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work extended hours, including late evenings if required
Dependable and punctual, with a commitment to fulfilling the agreed schedule
Comfortable with physical tasks such as walking or standing for long periods
Basic proficiency in order entry or similar administrative tasks
Positive attitude and a proactive approach to problem-solving
