Job Description:

Customer Service Representative role at CVS Health focused on insurance verification and customer support. Hybrid work schedule requiring office reporting. The call center operates from 7am-7pm.

Job Responsibility:

  • Verify insurance coverage for potential and new clients
  • Re-verify insurance coverage for existing patients
  • Answer questions about benefits, coverage, billing and payments
  • Respond to telephone inquiries from policyholders, agents and their representatives
  • Assist with password registration and online registration
  • Perform data entry
  • Assist with processing billing paperwork
  • Maintain files of patient account profile information and referral source data
  • Resolve patient complaints

Requirements:

  • Located in Tennessee
  • Understanding of insurance concepts including governmental plans, ancillary plan benefits, and other coverages
  • Effective and empathetic communication style
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Basic alpha number data entry skills with attention to accuracy
  • Intermediate math skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team environment while meeting individual performance goals
  • Ability to read and interpret policies, procedures and instructions
  • Effective organizational skills and ability to prioritize a fluctuating workload
  • High School or GED equivalent

Nice to have:

  • Minimum of 1 year in a customer service or call center environment
  • Knowledge of Medicare and 3rd party vendors
