Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Tustin, California. In this role, you will focus on managing utility compliance and ensuring a smooth move-in experience for residents. This is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity to contribute to the real estate and property industry.

Job Responsibility:

Assist residents with utility-related inquiries and resolve issues promptly
Handle escalations by gathering and conveying necessary information
Maintain consistent and effective communication with residents
Gain comprehensive knowledge of utility processes to foresee and manage potential escalations
Stay informed about resident-facing programs and platforms
Contribute to development and implementation of sustainability programs
Review and analyze reports from third-party vendors
Investigate and resolve activation delays, disconnects, and other utility-related issues

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM systems
Strong problem-solving skills with ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environment
Adaptability to shifting priorities and dynamic work environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Active listening abilities
Proven ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and work independently
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
Experience in utilities, billing functions, dispatching, and property management systems such as Yardi
