Customer Service Representative

• Provide clear and compassionate communication to veterans, their surviving spouses, and family members
• Explain processes, required documentation, and timelines to clients in a user-friendly manner
• Schedule consultations and manage follow-up appointments effectively
• Maintain consistent updates with clients regarding the status of their claims
• Organize and prepare client files for submission of benefits applications
• Assist in collecting necessary documentation, such as medical records, financial information, and military service records
• Ensure all forms and documents are accurate and complete before review
• Safeguard confidential records and comply with privacy regulations
• Track deadlines and oversee case progress within internal systems
• Support case management by monitoring claim timelines and preparing documentation for submission

• Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a call center or similar environment
• Proficiency in managing inbound and outbound calls with professionalism
• Strong skills in email communication and order entry
• Ability to schedule and coordinate appointments efficiently
• Familiarity with handling sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Experience in working with veterans or military-related processes is a plus
