Robert Half is partnering with a mission-driven nonprofit organization seeking a compassionate and service-oriented Customer Service Representative to support community members, donors, and program participants. This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries, and helping connect individuals with the organization's programs and resources. The ideal candidate is empathetic, organized, and passionate about making a positive impact in the community.
Job Responsibility
Serve as the primary point of contact for incoming phone calls, emails, and general inquiries
Provide accurate information regarding programs, services, events, and community resources
Assist clients, donors, and stakeholders with questions, concerns, and service requests
Document interactions and maintain accurate records within organizational databases
Process applications, registrations, forms, and other program-related documentation
Route inquiries to appropriate departments and follow up to ensure resolution
Support outreach initiatives, fundraising events, and community engagement activities
Maintain confidentiality of client and donor information
Assist with administrative projects and general office support as needed
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a positive experience for all individuals served
Requirements
2+ years of customer service, call center, administrative support, or client-facing experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-first approach
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
Experience working in a nonprofit, healthcare, education, or community-focused environment is a plus
Nice to have
Experience with CRM or donor management systems
Bilingual language skills are a plus
Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds
Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information
