We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team outside of Short Pump, Virginia. This Contract to permanent position requires a detail-oriented individual to handle customer inquiries, process orders, and support the sales team effectively. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction by providing timely assistance, maintaining order accuracy, and coordinating with internal departments.
Job Responsibility:
Respond promptly to customer inquiries, providing detailed product information and solutions
Prepare and manage quotes for customers, ensuring accuracy and timely follow-up to secure business opportunities
Process sales orders for various products, including attachments, parts, and warranty-related items, while ensuring all customer specifications are met
Coordinate with shipping and production teams to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and delivered on time
Assist with overdue accounts by supporting collections efforts and following up on past-due balances
Facilitate returns and exchanges by processing Return Goods Authorizations (RGAs) with necessary documentation
Maintain effective communication with customers and sales representatives to address order details and delivery timelines
Monitor open orders and drop-ship items, ensuring timely processing and updating stakeholders as needed
Review and revise orders as required, ensuring updated details are accurately communicated to all relevant teams
Track shipments and containers in transit, providing updates to keep all parties informed
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service or a related role, preferably in a call center environment
Experience in business management software, such as NetSuite, is a plus
Proficiency in handling customer inquiries and processing orders with attention to detail
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and internal teams
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with order entry systems and processes is preferred
Experience with inbound and outbound call handling
Basic knowledge of product specifications and dimensions is a plus
Professionalism and a customer-focused mindset to ensure satisfaction and smooth operations
