Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in McCook, Illinois. In this Contract to permanent role, you will serve as a key point of contact for customers, providing support related to waste management services. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling inquiries with professionalism and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibility:

Respond to 30–90 inbound customer calls daily regarding waste collection services
Provide detailed information and address concerns to ensure a positive customer experience
Resolve service-related issues promptly and professionally using effective problem-solving skills
Maintain accurate records by documenting all customer interactions
Adapt to a busy and dynamic work environment while managing competing priorities
Collaborate with colleagues and work independently to meet team goals
Communicate clearly and patiently with customers, even in challenging situations
Utilize organizational skills to multitask effectively and maintain efficiency
Uphold a high level of professionalism and customer focus in every interaction

Requirements:

Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a call center environment
Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
Ability to stay composed and attentive to details under pressure
Proven capability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced setting
A proactive problem-solving approach with a focus on customer satisfaction
Comfortable working independently while being a team player
Adaptability to handle changing situations and competing demands effectively
