A well-established and growing food retail company in Oceanside is seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to serve as a key point of contact for customers, vendors, and internal departments. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on communication, enjoys solving problems, and can confidently manage a high volume of phone and email interactions. Job Responsibility:
Handle inbound and outbound calls regarding orders, product inquiries, and account updates
Respond to customer emails in a timely and professional manner
Enter and update customer order information accurately
Assist with order tracking, shipping confirmations, and issue resolution
Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams on product availability
Maintain accurate notes and documentation in CRM systems
Support reporting using Excel and assist with administrative tasks
Requirements:
Minimum 2+ years of phone-based customer service experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
Experience with platforms such as NetSuite, SAP, Salesforce, QuickBooks, or similar ERP/CRM systems
Ability to multitask between phone systems and computer programs
Clear and professional phone presence
Strong written communication skills
Detail-oriented and organized
Comfortable in a fast-paced retail environment
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Nice to have:
Bilingual Spanish is a plus (not required)
