Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This is a Contract to permanent position that offers an excellent opportunity to showcase your communication and organizational skills while supporting clients and internal teams. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate proficiency in administrative tools and customer service practices.

Job Responsibility:

Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally via phone, email, and other communication channels
Manage incoming calls on a switchboard system with 1 to 10 lines, ensuring efficient call handling
Provide accurate pricing information and assist customers with product or service-related questions
Maintain and update records using Microsoft Excel, ensuring data accuracy and organization
Draft and send correspondence using Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook as required
Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer concerns and ensure client satisfaction
Process orders and monitor their progress to ensure timely delivery
Support administrative functions and contribute to a well-organized office environment
Identify opportunities to improve customer service processes and implement solutions
Handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality

Requirements:

Proven experience in customer service or a related field
Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook
Familiarity with managing switchboard systems handling 1 to 10 lines
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to provide accurate pricing information and resolve customer inquiries
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask effectively
A proactive approach to identifying and solving problems
