We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Metairie, Louisiana. This is a short-term contract to permanent position, offering an opportunity to grow within a dynamic and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will excel in delivering exceptional service, managing high call volumes, and maintaining a detail-oriented approach in all interactions.
Job Responsibility:
Respond to a high volume of customer inquiries, handling over 100 calls daily with efficiency and attention to detail
Upload and organize documents into designated files, completing 20+ uploads per day
Multitask effectively to manage various responsibilities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy
Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and productive work environment
Address customer concerns with empathy and patience, including interactions with irate callers
Utilize Microsoft Office tools, including Word, to perform administrative tasks
Operate a multi-line phone system to manage incoming and outgoing calls
Maintain a pleasant and detail-oriented demeanor in all customer and team interactions
Uphold company service standards and contribute to overall customer satisfaction
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service role
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Office applications
Ability to handle high call volumes and multitask effectively
Strong interpersonal skills with a team-oriented mindset
Attentive and empathetic approach to customer interactions
Experience managing challenging situations, including handling irate callers
Familiarity with multi-line phone systems
