We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Woodridge, Illinois. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring smooth order processing and outstanding customer support within the agriculture industry. Job Responsibility:
Serve as the primary point of contact for sales representatives and customers, providing expert support throughout the order process
Manage orders from initiation to completion, including entry, tracking, vendor confirmations, status updates, and handling claims or returns
Execute daily transactions using the order management system and B2B platform to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Maintain order integrity across customer accounts, addressing shipping, substitutions, pricing, and other related details
Generate and distribute sales reports upon request, ensuring timely and accurate information delivery
Communicate critical deadlines and vendor-related updates to customers to facilitate seamless operations
Foster strong relationships with internal teams, vendors, and customers to promote collaboration and satisfaction
Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, resolving customer inquiries and prioritizing tasks effectively
Provide backup support for team members and assist with special projects as needed
Identify system issues and recommend enhancements to improve customer service and operational efficiency
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center or high-volume environment
Proficiency in managing orders, including entry, tracking, and resolving issues
Strong communication skills to handle inbound and outbound calls and deliver detailed messages
Familiarity with data entry processes and ability to maintain accuracy in high-volume scenarios
Demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with customers, vendors, and team members
Problem-solving skills to provide recommendations and resolve customer concerns effectively
Experience with order management systems and B2B platforms is highly desirable
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
