Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join a client in Edwardsville, Kansas. In this contract position, you will play a vital role in engaging with customers, processing orders, and ensuring satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who excel in customer-focused environments and possess strong organizational skills.

Job Responsibility:

  • Process and input customer orders for new or additional products accurately and efficiently
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints, escalating complex issues to supervisors or appropriate teams as necessary
  • Ensure timely resolution of customer concerns by taking necessary actions and following up when required
  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, including inquiries, complaints, and feedback
  • Generate weekly reports on machine orders and reconcile them with production and shipment data
  • Manage invoicing, documentation, and tracking for leasing and consignment of machines
  • Prepare and track key account sales reports to support business operations
  • Collaborate with team members on cross-functional tasks and contribute to a supportive team environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support customer service operations

Requirements:

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to actively listen and address customer needs
  • Proven ability to deliver excellent service and resolve customer issues effectively
  • Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in all tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and capacity to learn new software systems
  • High school diploma or equivalent certification
  • Previous experience in customer service roles is preferred
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and work on a computer
  • Capability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally
