Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. In this role, you will provide exceptional service to homeowners, addressing their inquiries and ensuring a seamless experience. This is a contract-to-hire position offers the opportunity to grow within a dynamic and customer-focused environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Engage with homeowners in a detail-oriented and courteous manner, ensuring their needs are met with positivity and efficiency
  • Handle a variety of inbound customer inquiries, including website assistance, escrow questions, and processing payoffs
  • Identify and refer eligible homeowners for refinancing opportunities to the appropriate department
  • Conduct outbound collection activities on accounts with varying levels of delinquency, prioritizing those less than 30 days past due
  • Route calls to the appropriate internal teams based on escalation paths and customer needs
  • Meet and exceed performance metrics and service expectations
  • Utilize proprietary software systems effectively, providing feedback for system improvements
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and operational success

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1 year in a customer-facing role, preferably within a call center environment
  • Prior experience in mortgage servicing, including property tax, insurance, collections, or customer service, is preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • a college degree is a plus
  • Ability to work flexible hours, ranging from part-time to extended schedules
  • Strong customer focus and the ability to adapt to diverse personality types
  • Willingness to learn and use proprietary servicing software
  • Background in mortgage servicing within a call center is highly desirable
  • Experience in either mortgage servicing or call center environments is acceptable
