We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support a manufacturing organization in Lombard, Illinois. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who communicates clearly, handles customer concerns effectively, and enjoys resolving issues in a fast-paced service environment. The person in this role will assist callers with program-related questions, document interactions thoroughly, and help ensure a positive customer experience across phone and email channels.
Job Responsibility:
Respond to inbound customer calls promptly while maintaining a courteous, detail-oriented, and solution-focused approach.
Investigate customer questions related to photo enforcement programs and provide accurate, easy-to-understand information.
Record detailed and precise notes from each customer interaction in the appropriate system on a daily basis.
Bring complex or sensitive customer concerns to the attention of the Team Lead without delay.
Guide customers through payment-related inquiries, including support with credit card transactions for violation payments.
Review email and internal communication channels each day to stay current on updates and service expectations.
Perform administrative support tasks such as data entry, order-related updates, and other assigned duties as needed.
Contribute to efficient customer service operations by handling follow-up communication and maintaining accurate documentation.
Requirements:
Prior experience in customer service, call center support, or a similar client-facing role.
Comfortable managing high-volume inbound calls with strong listening and verbal communication skills.
Ability to enter and maintain accurate records while handling customer interactions.
Experience using email, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel in a detail-focused setting.
Capable of resolving customer concerns with patience, sound judgment, and attention to detail.
Familiarity with payment support, order entry, or appointment scheduling is preferred.
Able to escalate urgent matters appropriately and work effectively within a team environment.
