We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team in East Lansing, Michigan. This long-term contract position focuses on providing exceptional support to physicians and healthcare professionals regarding certification processes. The ideal candidate will excel at problem-solving and have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality service in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Job Responsibility:
Assist healthcare professionals with certification applications, tracking credentials, and submitting required documentation
Respond to inquiries promptly, offering solutions and ensuring a positive customer experience
Collaborate with internal teams to address complex issues and stay informed about policy updates
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and resolutions using company systems
Educate users on certification eligibility, renewal procedures, and documentation requirements
Escalate unresolved concerns to appropriate departments for further assistance
Develop and contribute to training materials, FAQs, and process improvements to enhance customer support
Requirements:
Previous experience in customer service, help desk, or administrative roles, preferably in the healthcare sector
Knowledge of physician certification or medical credentialing processes is an advantage
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to provide effective solutions
Proficient in Microsoft Office and customer management systems
Courteous demeanor with a focus on delivering excellent service
Ability to handle inbound and outbound customer calls efficiently
