We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support daily customer interactions for a manufacturing organization near Clifton, NJ. Job Responsibility:
Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email, providing timely and attentive support throughout the order lifecycle
Review and document product damage claims, gather relevant details, and help move reported issues toward resolution
Monitor shipment activity and share delivery updates with customers using available tracking information
Enter and manage customer orders accurately while confirming product availability and inventory details
Communicate with shipping carriers and other logistics partners to address delivery questions and exceptions
Maintain organized customer records and service notes through consistent data entry and follow-up
Handle a steady daily call volume while balancing weekly order management responsibilities and competing priorities
Apply company service guidelines when responding to requests, concerns, and order-related questions
Requirements:
Previous experience in a customer service, order support, or similar client-facing role
Comfortable managing inbound and outbound calls in a high-activity environment
Strong written communication skills for clear email correspondence and customer updates
Accurate data entry skills with close attention to detail
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
Experience with order entry, order processing, or inventory-related support tasks
Ability to multitask effectively and stay organized while handling several customer needs at once
