We are looking for a dedicated and bilingual Customer Service Representative to join our team in Huntington Beach, California. This contract position offers an opportunity to assist members with their healthcare needs while providing exceptional service. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibility:
Assist members, family members, providers, and caregivers by explaining healthcare benefits and plan options
Address member inquiries by identifying issues, determining solutions, and providing clear explanations
escalate complex matters to management or appropriate departments when necessary
Participate in outreach initiatives aimed at enhancing membership retention and satisfaction
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines to ensure compliant operations
contribute suggestions for workflow improvements
Accurately document member interactions, actions taken, and resolutions in the designated systems
Maintain a high standard of professionalism while responding to inbound and outbound calls
Support member services projects and collaborate with the team to achieve organizational goals
Attend training sessions and staff meetings to stay updated on procedures and enhance skills
Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent is required
a bachelor's degree or relevant work experience is preferred
Minimum of two years of experience in customer service, ideally in a healthcare or call center setting
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and data entry systems
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with bilingual proficiency in Korean
Ability to handle inbound and outbound calls efficiently and professionally
Skilled in scheduling appointments and managing email correspondence
Capable of working effectively in a feedback-driven environment
Familiarity with healthcare industry practices and protocols is highly desirable
