A leading company specializing in maritime transport to Newfoundland is looking for a Customer Service Representative (CSR) for its Montreal office. In this role, you will be at the heart of logistics operations, acting as the essential link between customers, terminals, and dispatch teams. This Customer Service Representative (CSR) position requires great versatility and the ability to navigate a dynamic and collaborative work environment.
Job Responsibility:
Enter and manage transport bookings in the AS400 computer system
Perform cargo tracking (tracing) to answer customer questions about the status of their shipments
Manage a high volume of communications, primarily by email (approximately 100 per day) and by telephone
Collaborate closely with dispatch departments and drivers to resolve delivery issues
Provide proactive support to internal and external customers to ensure smooth service
Requirements:
Fluent bilingualism (English and French) is mandatory
Minimum of 2 to 3 years of customer service experience in an office environment
Excellent ability to manage several tasks simultaneously (multitasking)
Sociable, proactive temperament, capable of working effectively within a close-knit team
