Our client in the Canton, Connecticut is seeking a Customer Service Representative for a contract opportunity. This role is ideal for a customer-focused professional with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibility
Provide prompt, professional support to customers via phone, email, and other communication channels
Respond to inquiries related to orders, products, account information, and service issues
Resolve customer concerns efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
Enter and update customer information accurately in internal systems
Process orders, track shipments, and coordinate with internal departments as needed
Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and follow-up activities
Support general administrative and customer service functions as assigned
Requirements
Previous customer service experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and customer service/order entry systems
Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
High school diploma or equivalent
Nice to have
Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or office environment
Comfortable handling a high volume of customer interactions
Strong data entry and multitasking abilities
