Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our ambulatory clinic team in Seattle, Washington. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in ensuring positive patient experiences by providing exceptional service and seamless coordination. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering outstanding customer care.

Job Responsibility

  • Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, addressing patient inquiries with attention to detail and empathy
  • Schedule appointments accurately and efficiently while managing daily patient schedules
  • Greet and room patients, ensuring they feel welcome and comfortable from arrival to departure
  • Process payments and revenue transactions with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Communicate test results and other critical information to patients in a clear and detail-oriented manner
  • Coordinate with administrative and clinical staff to streamline operations and maintain patient safety
  • Leverage communication systems effectively to enhance workflow and patient satisfaction
  • Address patient concerns promptly, offering solutions and support to resolve issues
  • Maintain organized records and documentation to ensure compliance and operational efficiency

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of six months of experience in customer service or a medical setting, or an associate degree
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities to interact with diverse individuals
  • Detail-oriented demeanor with a positive and achievement-oriented attitude
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards
  • Comfortable presenting information and responding to questions from staff, patients, and physicians

Nice to have

Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred but not required
