We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team on a contract with the possibility of becoming permanent. Job Responsibility:
Handle customer inquiries and service requests efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate communication with both internal teams and external customers
Schedule and manage service appointments by creating detailed work orders in Salesforce
Provide consistent updates to customers and internal stakeholders on the status of service requests
Serve as a backup for departmental tasks, including scheduling and follow-up activities as needed
Assist Crew Leaders in reviewing and processing non-billable work orders
Maintain a foundational understanding of the machine tool industry and the products represented by the organization
Perform various administrative and organizational tasks to support the department's operations
Requirements:
2-4 years of experience in customer service or a related industry role
Previous experience in administrative tasks is highly desirable
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
Nice to have:
Experience with call center operations, order entry, and handling inbound calls is a plus
