We are seeking a highly-motivated Customer Service Rep/Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our professional Customer Service team in our Las Vegas location! Must be a Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of Nevada - certified pharmacy technician preferred but not required.
Job Responsibility:
Talks with customers by phone and receives orders for office use products and prep calls to transfer new prescriptions to Tampa or Las Vegas pharmacist or responds to customer questions and/or requests for information including billing, order status, delivery status, etc.
Answers telephone and directs calls to pharmacists and/or other pharmacy personnel, or takes necessary messages
Emails customer product information requests, product literature, and customer training on myAnazao to appropriate Sales Territory representative
Receives office use orders and prescriptions from pharmacist for processing into pharmacy computer system. Enters information into computer system accurately for pharmacy to fill medications
Receives and processes prescriptions via fax, mail and online ordering systems.
Verifies and/or updates accuracy of patient information
i.e. address, allergies, etc.
Ensures security of Protected Health Information as per HIPAA requirements
Enters new prescription orders into the computer system and enters credit card payment for patient pay prescriptions when appropriate. Communicates with customer desired ship type when receiving verbal order if applicable
Adjusts complaints concerning billing or service rendered, referring complaints of service failures to designated departments for investigation
Follows reconciliation and reporting procedures for reporting to local, state and federal governing authorities as required by law by checking PDMP for patient prescriptions
May serve as a role model for the purposes of training new personnel
Maintains a clean, orderly work environment
Requirements:
Current Nevada Pharmacy Technician License
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
At least one year of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Possess strong communication skills, be organized, and detail oriented
Basic computer skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Interested candidates must be enthusiastic, professional, and self-directed
Nice to have:
certified pharmacy technician preferred but not required
