This is a 100% office-based Customer Service Representative (CSR) role located at Keysborough office. You will act as a vital link between customers and Sensient's internal teams (planners, shipping, quality, and sales), focusing on proactive relationship management, order accuracy, and sales support. This position requires a high level of responsibility regarding food safety and a proactive approach to maintaining the company's reputation through quality service.
Job Responsibility:
Sales & Service Support: Initiate and maintain sales through service, process orders (entry to follow-up), and support account managers in qualifying new prospects (needs, products, potential)
Order Management & Logistics: Monitor daily open order reports, track shipments directly with carriers, and work with Sensient planners to ensure on-time delivery
Communication & Escalation: Actively communicate with customers regarding delays and work with production/lab/shipping teams to resolve discrepancies
Complaint Resolution: Investigate, document, and manage customer complaints, ensuring all enquiries are entered within 24 hours of receipt
Quality & Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to company Food Safety Quality Management systems, regulatory standards, and customer requirements
Export/Admin Duties: Participate in exporting items to other Sensient sites and international customers, while assisting with front office/reception duties
